As of February 2011, US News & World Report has again recognized Mayflower Place Nursing Center as one of America’s Best Nursing Homes for receiving 5 stars, the highest over all rating, from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

Mayflower Place is Home Base for Marjorie Jones and her Many Interests
You can’t help but learn something new and have fun learning it during a conversation with Marjorie Jones. Since moving to her beautiful apartment home in the Mayflower Place Retirement Community in West Yarmouth, she has kept up with her many community activities and taken up a few more. She says, “There is more than enough going on here—special programs, movies, talented entertainers and much more.” A world traveler herself, Marjorie also enjoys the travelogues and participating in weekly painting classes. “Way back, I dabbled in watercolors. I also took a course in commercial art and wrote calligraphy. I tried acrylics in the class here, completing four or five paintings,” she says.
U.S. News & World Report announces “America’s Best Nursing Homes”
U.S. News & World Report February 2010 announced “America’s Best Nursing Homes” finding 173 nursing homes in the country scoring the highest possible ratings based on health inspections, amount of nursing care, and performance in a range of quality measures. For the State of Massachusetts, Mayflower Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, West Yarmouth was the only Center listed for Cape Cod, Massachusetts receiving such a high score.
